Paint correction sets detailing apart from general valet services, it requires great skill and experience aided by state of the art equipment. Paint correction is the process whereby paint defects such as scratches, swirls, holograms and etching are removed. Indeed even seriously oxidized or faded paint can be rejuvenated to look better than new. In most cases this process negates the need for an expensive re-spray and a fully corrected vehicle will always command a premium price come resale time.

Paint_condition_report

Purchasing a new or used vehicle is an important financial commitment for us all. The history of the vehicles paintwork may be impossible to ascertain, however by using state of the art paint depth guages the condition and history of the paintwork becomes clearer, resprayed panels are easily identifiable indicating possible accident damage or repair or even pre-delivery damage which most car dealers fail to inform their customers about.

As an ecosse client you will receive an in depth formal report outlining the condition and thicknesses of your vehicles paintwork. Also using high quality light sources we will highlight any defects within the paintwork that may not be visible to the naked eye.

This service is designed to give maximum piece of mind when buying a new or used vehicle.

Paint_correction_minor

This service is designed for new/newer vehicles which have less serious paint defects such as minor swirls, hologramming or etching. This service will take around three days to complete to our high standards. Once the process is completed your can be sure that your vehicle will be defect free and we would strongly recommend one of our maintenance plans to ensure your vehicle stays defect free. It must be noted that this is not a paint correction service and we would need to view the vehicle before any work is carried out.

Paint_correction_major

This service is designed for vehicles with serious defects i.e. random isolated deep scratches(RIDS), severe swirl marks and also etching caused by bird droppings, sap or water marks. This is an extremely labour intensive process and may take up to five days to complete to our high standards. By the end of this process you can be sure that your vehicles paintwork will be in the best condition possible both in terms of looks and protection, once completed we would strongly recommend one of our maintenance plans to ensure your vehicle stays defect free.
